A long standing partner of the club, the college’s branding will feature on the playing kit of the club’s two development teams, who play in the South West Peninsula League and Cornwall Youth League respectively.

And at the newly constructed Truro Sports Hub, the college will have perimeter pitchside advertising, as the Tinners return to Cornwall for the first time in close to four years.

“I am delighted that Truro and Penwith College are continuing their support of Truro City, as a much-valued partner,” said Truro City’s head of commercial Darren Buckley.

“I look forward to growing this relationship as both the college and the Tinners continue to strive to be at the very top of their respective games.”

Truro and Penwith College is one of the best colleges in the country, a fact recognised by Ofsted after they were awarded ‘Outstanding’ status, with consistent student results that rate among the highest in the UK.

Campuses in Truro, Penzance and their newly opened STEM & Health Skills Centre in Bodmin provide an exceptional range of courses for a variety of students, providing industry standard equipment and resources, housed in modern and purpose-built facilities.

“As long-time sponsors of Truro City Football Club, Truro and Penwith College is delighted to extend this partnership further, especially as the club enters a new and exciting phase of its journey,” added Matt Bond, head of marketing and communications at Truro and Penwith College.

“Supporting professional and developing sport in Cornwall is important for the college as it reflects the ambition we nurture in our students to ‘Look, Reach and Go Further’ in their chosen path, whether into employment or university.

“We look forward to continuing to support Truro City Football Club in various ways and wish them the very best of luck as they start the season in their new ground at Langarth.”
