Truro City will cross the Tamar to face National League South rivals Torquay United in the second qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup.
City booked their place in the next round of the competition with a comfortable 10-0 victory over fellow Cornish side AFC St Austell yesterday (Thursday).
Rhys Simmonds and Liam Higgins led the way for Ian Gosling’s side as they both bagged four-timers against the spirited Lillywhites.
The game against Torquay will see two of City’s FA Vase winning heroes go up against each other with Gosling pitting his wits against his former Truro team mate Kevin Wills, who is in charge of the Gulls’ under-18 side.
The game will take place during the week commencing Monday, September 30.
