City are on the road this evening when John Askey’s side travel to Twerton Park, as they lock horns with Bath City.
And the Tinners will be searching for a fourth consecutive win, with the side unbeaten away from the Truro City Stadium so far this year.
Four points from a possible six is Truro’s return on the road so far with a win over Maidstone United and a draw at Salisbury.
At home, bar a narrow reverse against Dorking on the opening day, Truro have been imperious at the TCS, racking up a hat-trick of impressive triumphs.
After a comeback win against Enfield and a 5-0 hammering of Worthing, City faced Chelmsford last time out. And with five minutes to go, Truro were staring down the barrel as they trailed 1-0.
Enter Tyler Harvey (pictured above), who bagged a fine free-kick to level the scores before he headed home a winner in stoppage time to secure a 2-1 win.
In Opposition
Truro face a Bath side that currently occupy 17th place in the National League South Standings.
Last time out, the Romas, were thrashed 4-2 at current league leaders Hemel Hempstead Town.
The game was almost done as a contest inside the opening 45 minutes with the Tudors leading 4-0. Bath’s cause was not helped by a straight red card shown to their custodian Harvey Wiles-Richards.
Despite being a man down, Jerry Gill’s side were spirited in the second half and managed to score twice, but Hemel, who top the pile after defeating Welling United 4-2 last evening, claimed all three points.
Last Time We Met
The two sides last met in February at Twerton Park, with the Romans coming out on top by the odd goal in three.
Truro old boy Cody Cooke fired Bath in front from the spot during the first half and after the break, Tom Smith doubled the home side’s advantage.
Elliott Frear then appeared to have put the game to bed with a third, but his strike was ruled out for offside.
Connor Riley-Lowe then stabbed home from close range in the dying embers to set up a grandstand finish, but Bath held on to prevail.
