The table topping Tinners complete November on the road with a trip to in-form Dorking Wanderers.

After a 7-1 thrashing of Hemel Hempstead Town on the road on Monday evening, John Askey’s side produced an equally comprehensive demolition job of their own 24-hours later, with Truro defeating Weymouth 4-1 in Dorset.

With league leaders Weston-super-Mare losing 4-2 at 10-man Torquay, it is City that have now taken over at the National league South summit.

The Ground

Dorking Wanderers have enjoyed a rapid rise through the National League System, since the club was formed in 1999 by disgruntled fans of Wimbledon. Current owner and first team manager Marc White was one of those fans.

The side started off playing in the Crawley local leagues and originally played at the Westhumble Playing Fields. But in 2018, the club moved to Meadowbank, which is also the headquarters of the Surrey Football Association, after previous incumbents Dorking folded in 2017.

The elevated main stand provides an unobstructed views of the match, whilst opposite is a flat standing area. Similar is found at the West End of the ground but the East End has both a seated and terraced stand.

The seats are designated as the family stand with the terrace housing City fans, as segregation will be enforced.
