Truro City start November on the road with a trip to Slough Town tomorrow (Saturday) – 3.00pm.

John Askey’s Tinners will be looking to extend their unbeaten record in National League South, which currently stands at five matches, and goes back to early September.

Last time Truro travelled to Arbour Park, the side suffered a 4-0 reverse with the hosts leading 3-0 at the break thanks to goals from David Ogbonna, Mickel Platt and Jamie Pardington (OG). After the turnaround, Truro stemmed the Rebels’ tide, but Jeanmal Prosper put the gloss on an impressive home display, with a fourth goal 14 minutes from time.

The Ground

Arbour Park is similar to Aveley’s Parkside, that City visited in September, in terms of age, facilities and it has an artificial pitch.

The ground was opened in 2016, some 13 years after the Rebels vacated their old Wexham Park home. After over a decade of nomadic existence, the side returned to a purpose built facility, which caters adequately for their average attendances, which hover just below the 1,000 mark.

The main stand has 250 seats and offers fans an unobstructed view of the match whilst opposite, the smaller East Stand does likewise.

The North End is the part of the ground that Slough favour attacking in the second half of games and that is a small standing terrace.

The South End can be found at the other end of the ground and can hold 700 standing fans and is covered. This is where away fans are housed if segregation is needed although this will not be in place tomorrow.

Food & Drink

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served in ‘Rebels’, along with hot drinks too.

Post match, the bar will be showing the live Premier League match which is Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Crystal Palace – 5.30pm.

There is also a bar and kitchen on the first floor of the main stand, while their is also an outside bar on the west side of the ground, next to the main stand.

Slough Town advise that Arbour Park is a cashless facility, with only card accepted.
