City’s second away trip of the season sees the side travel to Eastbourne Borough next Saturday, January 11.

The Tinners will be looking to avenge their defeat by Sports earlier in the season when Alfie Pavey’s 56th minute goal secured a 1-0 win for the East Sussex outfit.

It was a smash and grab in every sense of the word with Eastbourne scoring from their only meaningful attack of the entire 90 minutes.

Truro, on the other hand, bombarded the visiting goal, hit the woodwork twice and also had a decent shout for a penalty turned down too.

After a brush with relegation last term, Sports are certainly in contention for promotion and currently sit one place outside the play-off berths – level on points with seventh placed Weston-super-Mare.

Ground address: Priory Lane, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN23 7QH

Parking

Priory Lane is situated on the outskirts of the town, with ample parking available for spectators. At the River End of the ground and the smaller Priory Lane car park, there is space for 400 cars.

Eastbourne ask away fans to use both these car parks and not park on Priory Road, or the surrounding roads around the ground.

The Ground

The main stand houses both executive and directors’ suites, along with an area for press, with the dugouts positioned in front of this stand.

It does not run the length of the field and is positioned slightly off centre but like the Eden Hot Tubs Stand here at the TCS, offers unobstructed views.

The Mick Green Stand housed the players’ changing rooms, a tea bar and covered terracing at the Priory Road end of the ground.

Opposite to the main stand, there is cover provided in the shape of the terraced Peter Fountain Stand. This covered enclosure extends to the River End too.

There are two bars in the clubhouse – The Sports Bar and Founders Bar, both of which accept away fans.

There will be no segregation in operation for Truro’s visit, so fans can freely move around the stadium and change ends at half-time, if they so desire.
