City’s run of three consecutive Tuesday night matches ends tomorrow (Tuesday) with a trip to Chippenham Town – 7.45pm.
Last term, Truro travelled to Hardenhuish Park on Easter Monday and after a nightmare journey to Wiltshire, kick-off was delayed by 30 minutes owing to traffic congestion on the M5.
When the game started, City dominated and James Melhado hit the woodwork during the open stages. Further chances came and went for Josh Hinds, Luther Munakandafa and Andrew Neal, but Chippenham survived and they could have pinched the game late on themselves.
The final result was a stalemate, with this the first of 10 games City would play in the final 20 days of the 2023-24 season.
Demonstrating just how different things are for Truro 12 months on, their Chippenham away trip will be the side’s 38th of the campaign, with 47 days of the regular campaign left.

Parking
There are no parking available at Hardenhuish Park, due to its location amongst a whole host of other sporting facilities – similar to that found at Clarence Park, St Albans.
Supporters are therefore advised to use street parking, but as always, park respectfully and courteously towards local residents.
The Ground
Hardenhuish Park’s main stand is a real mish mash of amenities, comprising the club’s original main stand, with temporary seating enclosures added at each end to comply with ground grading.
To one side of the main stand is the Blues Bar clubhouse, which is open for both home and away fans, as there will be no segregation in operation for City’s visit.
This side of the ground also houses club portakabin buildings and food concessions, which offer standard footballing fayre.
Opposite the main stand is a small covered terrace, whilst at each end of the ground, it is also standing room only.
The Bristol Road End is covered whilst the opposite end, with the nearby school in the background, is open.
