City will be looking to secure a league double over the Urchins after a dramatic 2-1 win over Daryl McMahon’s side at the TCS back in January.

In simply atrocious conditions, City took the lead eight minutes from time when Billy Palfrey lashed home his third of the season. But Hornchurch stung City in stoppage time when Darren McQueen restored parity.

However, with defender Harry Gibbs having to helped off suffering from suspected hypothermia, City, playing in time added on to time added on, claimed all three points thanks to Rocky Neal’s far post finish.

Car Parking

Hornchurch advise that parking at the stadium is available, on a first come, first served basis.

After this, street parking is available in both Bridge Avenue and Brookdale Avenue.

Visiting supporters are advised that traffic enforcement increases on match days due to cars being parked across driveways and on double yellow lines.

Therefore, travelling Tinners are asked to park with consideration and courtesy when using street parking.

The Ground

The third and final multi-purpose facility that City will play at during the 2024-25 campaign.

Although the main playing surface is surrounded by an athletics track, spectator facilities are different to those experienced in recent weeks at both Enfield Town and Chelmsford City.

The main amenities for fans are on both sides of the ground with a mash-mash of seating and standing offerings. With no segregation in place, fans will not be restricted to one part of the ground like that seen at Worthing last week.

What many would consider the main stand(s) side of the ground comprises of a directors and sponsors area which straddles the half way line, flanked either side by a terrace and seats.

Opposite there are two further seated enclosures and one terrace.

Behind one goal is totally empty and at the other end, the clubhouse is situated, alongside a decked area, which supporters can watch the game from, which is affectionally known as Hasbeens Hill.

Food & Drink

With no segregation in place, the home clubhouse will admit away fans – serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The live lunchtime Premier League game (Manchester City vs Crystal Palace) and tea time game (Arsenal vs Brentford) will both be shown live in the clubhouse.

Food will be served from the burger bar in the south west corner of the stadium.

The clubhouse accepts both cash and card while the burger bar is cash only.

Match Programme

Hornchurch’s printed programme ‘The Urchin’ will be available for sale inside the ground priced £3 – cash or card. There will also be a 50/50 draw with cash only accepted for 50/50 tickets.
