In Opposition
Torquay United travel to TR4 occupying fourth place in the National League South standings. The Gulls are three points behind the Tinners with three games to go.
Managed by former City chief Paul Wotton, it is another former Truro favourite who has kept Torquay in the title race. Cody Cooke (pictured below) is in red-hot form, scoring his last four matches.

In their last game, Torquay defeated Slough Town at Plainmoor. Cooke and Matt Jay – another player with previous City experience – found the mark in a 2-0 win against the 10-man Rebels.
Away from the English Riviera, Torquay are unbeaten in five games, with the side’s last defeat on February 22, when they surrendered a 2-0 lead to go down 3-2 at Chelmsford City.
Last Time We Met
This Good Friday clash will be the third between the Tinners and the Gulls this season. In the FA Trophy back in November, Truro City were defeated 1-0 at Plainmoor.
And the scoreline was the same on January 1, when Jordan Young’s settled an absorbing tie for Torquay, who prevailed with their only shot of note.
