Truro City are delighted to announce Ara Recovery For All as its official charity partner for the 2025-26 season.
Ara are committed to helping individuals affected by gambling harms. Their range of services are designed to provide support and treatment to those in need.
Whether you’re looking for information, assessment, or ongoing care, Ara is here to help you on your journey towards recovery.
Ara provides free support, including practical advice and support, self-exclusion support, relapse prevention groups and free counselling for gamblers and affected others.
“Truro City FC is committed to our community and the people of Cornwall, and it gives us immense pride to be able to partner with ARA Recovery For All Gambling Service for the 2025/26 season, raising awareness and providing local support for the incredible and valuable services they provide,” said Truro City’s commercial lead Rob Butland.
“We have all been touched, at some time or another, by addiction and the associated challenges this brings to individuals and families.
“We are delighted to be working with the team at ARA Recovery For All, to deliver meaningful community impact services, to promote an inclusive culture of treatment and action in the city and around the Duchy with this partnership.”
Meanwhile, Pauline Strachan, Ara Recovery For All’s community engagement manager, added: “We’re proud to announce that Ara Recovery For All Gambling Service is the official charity partner of Truro City Football Club for the 2025-26 season
“This is Ara’s first ever formal partnership with a local Cornish football club and we couldn’t be more excited to kick things off with a team so deeply committed to its community.
“We know football brings people together. It’s part of our culture, full of passion, pride, and connection.
“But we also know that for some, gambling linked to sport can cause real harm and that’s why this partnership is so important,” added Lindsay Taylor, Ara Recovery For All’s community engagement lead.
“Through shared values and local connection, we’re working to ensure that anyone affected by gambling harms knows local support is available, free, confidential, and close to home.”
