Truro City is delighted to announce that Dominic Johnson-Fisher has signed a new contract with Truro City.
The 21-year-old forward moved to Truro from Isthmian League outfit Whitehawk in January 2024, going on to make 13 appearances as the club secured National League South survival at the first attempt.
Last term, Johnson-Fisher was involved in every matchday squad as the Tinners won promotion to the National League, thus becoming the first Cornish club to dine at non-League football’s top table.
He made 36 appearances, scoring two goals, including one of the five City scored in their last day 5-2 triumph over St Albans, which saw John Askey’s side win the National League South title on goal difference from Torquay United.
“To score on the last day and then go up was something of a bonus so to sign a new contract was a no-brainer, with what’s to come next,” Johnson-Fisher told trurocity.co.uk
“In terms of my football, it is very much onwards and upwards and I am just waiting to prove myself further.
“I felt like scoring at home was something of a repayment from the fans. It is backing, that pushes me on, that they are supporting and believing in me.
“Coming off the back of last season, things can only get better for me and that is what I am here to show.”
He added: “I can’t wait to get my boots back on and whilst you never really know what is going to happen in a season until you are in it, there is just pure excitement for me to get going really.”
