Truro City seek volunteer ball crew for the 2025/26 season, covering home Enterprise National League, National League Cup and any potential Emirates FA Cup and Isuzu FA Trophy ties.

Age Requirements

Aged 13-21 for Saturday fixtures

Aged 16-21 (college, higher education ager) for midweek fixtures

Responsibilities

• To ensure the operation of the newly implemented multi-ball system in the National League.
• The club seek eight members of ball crew (either individuals or from a local team/club) for each game, with each member of ball crew responsible for a certain part of the pitch.
• Ball crew will return balls to positioned cones around the pitch each time a ball is used on the field of play.
• It is a very responsible role, but don’t worry, the club will give full training to any successful applicant.

Requirements

• Ball crew will need to physically fit and pitch side for the whole duration of each home game.
• Comfortable interacting with players and match officials.
• Being outdoors in differing weather conditions.
• Proud to represent Truro City and uphold the club’s high standards.

• Please only apply if you and the person you are applying for meets the age criteria.
• We are unable to accept applicants under the age of 13 due to juvenile employment law.
• There is a minimum commitment of six match days throughout the season
• Ball crew can bring an adult to each game they participate in (not the games they don’t)
