Truro City can confirm that midfielder Seidou Sanogo has joined Taunton Town on loan until December 7.

Sanogo, 25, joined City in the summer of 2024 after he left Isthmian League outfit Folkestone Invicta.

He made his Truro City bow in the 24-25 season opener against Dorking Wanderers and scored goals in home victories over Enfield Town and Worthing.

However, just six weeks into his maiden Tinners campaign, Sanogo suffered a broken leg in a freak training ground incident that ruled him out for the rest of the term.

After working his way back to full fitness, Sanogo has featured in all of City’s National League Cup games this season and scoring twice in the recent 3-0 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion under-21s.

He was an unused substitute for Truro’s 2-2 draw at Gateshead last Saturday and after all paperwork for this temporary switch was approved, is available for Taunton’s trip to Hanwell Town in the Southern League Premier division tomorrow – Saturday.
