Truro City have been drawn away to Southend United in the third round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.

The game at Roots Hall will take place over the weekend of Saturday, December 13, with this Truro’s first ever away game against the Shrimpers.

The two sides have faced each other already this term at the TCS, with Kevin Maher’s side, who were beaten in the play-off final by Oldham Athletic, prevailing 1-0 in a tight encounter.

If City can overcome Southend, the club will progress to the fourth round of the Isuzu FA Trophy for the first time in the club’s history. The previous best run for the Tinners came in both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns, when the side reached round three.

Ticket details for this match will be released in due course.
