Midfielder Seidou Sanogo’s loan to Southern League Premier side Taunton Town has been extended until January 2026.

The 25-year-old first linked up with the Peacocks at the end of October and has been a virtual ever-present for Richard Luffman’s side over the past six weeks.

With his loan due to run out on December 7, this temporary agreement has been extended.

Sanogo, who joined City ahead of the 2024/25 National League South season, made a fine start to life as a Tinner, by scoring twice in the opening month of last term.

But in a freak training ground incident, suffered a broken leg and missed the rest of City’s title winning campaign.

Now back to full fitness, Sanogo has been a regular in Truro’s National League Cup matches, scoring two goals in the 3-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
