Truro City are delighted to announce that Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain’s loan from Kidderminster Harriers has been extended until January 31, 2025.
The 26-year-old has been a mainstay of the City side so far this season, after he swapped Aggborough for the Duchy on a temporary basis back in August.
Son of former England international Mark Chamberlain and brother of Premier League and Champions League winner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, he made his debut for City against Dorking on the opening day.
In Truro’s next match away at Maidstone, Oxlade-Chamberlain bagged his first goal in City colours, as John Askey’s side prevailed 2-1.
He has started every league and cup game to date and has forged a steely defensive partnership with Tom Harrison and Sam Sanders, that has seen City concede just 16 goals in 17 matches overall in 2024-25.
With the paperwork for his new loan deal completed over the weekend, Oxlade-Chamberlain is in contention for tonight’s game at Boreham Wood. He is also clear to play in Saturday’s Isuzu FA Trophy second round match at Devon rivals Torquay United.
