After Saturday’s victory over Chesham United at a rain lashed and wind swept Truro City Stadium, the Tinners are back on the road this evening, with a trip to Weymouth next up for John Askey’s side.
The Terras find themselves in the lower echelons of the National League South standings, although a recent FA Trophy win on the road at league leaders Weston-super-Mare demonstrate that on their day, Mark Moseley’s charges are a match for anyone in this division.
For City, they could, if results go their way and they also claim victory in Dorset, top the pile come 10.00pm this evening.
Distance & Directions
Despite the distance of close to 150 miles, this is one of City’s shortest trips of the season, with travelling time just under three hours.

The Ground
The Bob Lucas Stadium, named after the Terras’ former President and physio, was opened in the late 80s and in 2005, held a ground record attendance of 6,500 for a first round FA Cup replay against Nottingham Forest.
The appearance of the stadium is dominated by the main grandstand which houses the dressing rooms, hospitality facilities and club offices. It is elevated from the pitch giving excellent and unobstructed views of the game.
The rest of the stadium is a mix of covered and uncovered terracing which sweeps around the other three sides of the ground. The ground is completed by four traditional floodlight pylons, the like of which are rarely seen at modern grounds nowadays.
There is no segregation in place for tonight’s fixture meaning and entry to the ground is for general admission, with supporters permitted to sit in the main grandstand at no extra cost.
