City face two away games in February with the first of those tomorrow against Hampton & Richmond.
The Beveree Stadium is a venue that holds mixed emotions for City fans with a glorious FA Cup fourth qualifying round win in October 2017, tempered by a play-off defeat at the same ground just seven months later.
Truro’s last trip to the banks of the Thames came in February 2024, when the 10-man Beavers prevailed 2-1.
The hosts took the lead after 12 minutes when Tope Fadahunsi opened the scoring. It was a lead Hampton carried into the break, but within a minute of the restart, Ollie Bray, a half time substitute for Rocky Neal, had levelled.
It was Bray’s first touch in a Truro shirt after he joined the club on loan from Aldershot Town. It turned out to be his only goal for the Tinners and after leaving City, would also play for Dartford during 2023-24.
The game then swung in City’s favour when Ruaridh Donaldson was sent off for an off the ball incident with Connor Riley-Lowe. But Truro couldn’t make their numerical advantage count and with time ticking down, Issac Pitblado scored the home side’s winner.
The Beveree Stadium
Hampton’s home ground is a real mish-mash of seated and standing enclosures but it is a charming venue, full of character and the Beavers’ matchday experience is one of the best at this level.
The main stand consists of a permanent seated stand, shallow terrace and another temporary block of seats.
Opposite that is a mainly open terrace, called the School Side, which is accessible for fans, although the view on the halfway line is obstructed by the dugouts and television gantry.
The north end of the stadium is home to the Keith Hussey Stand which is covered terracing, similar to that seen behind the goals at St Albans City.
At the south end, the changing rooms, social club and hospitality suites are present, along with the Alan Simpson Stand. It is a small but elevated structure offering unobstructed views of the pitch, with supporters having to climb a set of steps to gain access. It also only runs for about a quarter of behind the goal.
Hampton has advised that no segregation will be in operation for City’s visit meaning fans can swap ends at half-time if needed.
The Beveree Stadium is also a cashless venue, with only card payments accepted.
Parking
There is only a small car park at the stadium, so fans are advised to use street parking, whilst being aware of potential restrictions and respecting local residents
