Ahead of the 2025-26 National League season, the club are holding a volunteer recruitment evening at the Truro City Stadium next Wednesday, May 28.

The evening will begin at 7.00pm and run until 8.30pm as volunteers from last season are asked to attend to discuss their availability for next season.

Prospective volunteers (who must be 18 or over) are also encouraged to attend as members of the club’s off-field staff, from operations to media, will be in attendance to answer questions and advise on available roles.

To give any potential volunteers an insight into what volunteering at Truro City entails, and the rewards it can generate, here is a testimonial from Vikki Lean, who along with her son Hayden , covered a variety of roles last term:

“I decided to volunteer at Truro City because our family has followed the team for years and we are just delighted that they are now back in Truro, where they belong.

When the opportunity arose for volunteers there was no hesitation from me and also it was a good opportunity for my son, Hayden, to help out and work towards his Silver Duke of Edinburgh award.

“We have both felt warmly welcomed and valued, without feeling under pressure to have to volunteer all of the time.

“By giving our time we feel that we are playing a small part in the success of the club, which in turn is contributing significantly to the wider community. This is something I recieve immense satisfaction from doing.”

If prospective or past volunteers require any further information or to register their interest in attending next Wednesday, please email info@trurocity.co.uk FAO Amy Horton.
