Truro City is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Harry Kite.

The 24-year-old has inked a two-year deal with the Tinners, signing as a free agent.

Kite came through the ranks at SkyBet League 1 outfit Exeter City and made his debut in 2017 during an EFL trophy tie with fellow West Country outfit Yeovil Town.

Crediton born, Kite would go on to make over 100 appearances for the Grecians, and was part of the side which won promotion to the third tier of English football in 2022.

He left St James Park 12 months ago, but suffered a long-term injury before signing for another club. However, after battling back to full fitness, Kite spent the final month of 2024-25 in the National League with Yeovil Town.

“I think it is a great time to come to Truro and I got that feeling after speaking with the manager and the assistant Yettsy,” Kite told trurocity.co.uk

“It will be a great place for me to continue playing my football and I felt it was a project I really wanted to be involved in – I am glad to be here.

“This is a club that, if you look at their trajectory, is going upwards. I played at Truro’s old stadium with other clubs and if I look at where the club is now, it is a huge stride (forward) in terms of infrastructure and what it is building.

He added: “I know a couple of the boys here and I have played against some of them too, so that should make it easy to gel and bed in with the group.

“I know the level I can play at and I back my ability. It was difficult for me last season because of injuries, but this is a club where I feel I can grow, develop my game and get plenty of football.”
