Truro City is delighted to announce that the application process for match day mascots and flag bearers, for the first half of the 2025/26 National League season, is now open.

Applicants are sought from local football clubs, schools and individuals, to fill these exciting opportunities on home match days.

Once applications are received, allocations will be made via a random draw.

Mascots will walk onto the pitch with Truro City, whilst taking part in the pre-match handshakes with both the opposition side and match officials.

Flag bearers will flank both teams and the match officials as they enter the field at the Truro City Stadium, passionately waving the cross of St Piran to empower the Tinners to victory.

Please note:

  • This expression of interest covers games up to and including December 31, 2025 only
  • Completing the expression of interest form does not guarantee participation.
  • The club anticipate a large number of applicants for these positions and for roles to be oversubscribed.
  • Allocation of mascots and flag bearers will be via a random draw to any given match.
  • Full media consent must be granted to participate as either a flag bearer or mascot.
  • Minimum age for mascots is five – minimum of 11 participants (per team or club), maximum of 14 (per team or club.
  • Minimum age for flag bearers is eight – minimum of eight participants (per team or club), maximum of 12 (per team or club).
  • Individual applications for both mascots and flag bearers will be considered.
