Truro City is delighted to announce that every single first team game, home and away, in every competition, will be broadcast live by BBC Radio Cornwall.
This landmark agreement between the club and Radio Cornwall further strengthens an existing longstanding partnership, as Truro City creates more history, by taking its place in the National League, in a first for football in Cornwall.
For the 2025/26 season, which starts tomorrow as the Tinners travel to Wealdstone in the National League, Radio Cornwall have also introduced a dedicated Truro City page on BBC Sounds, where supporters will be able to listen to all club news which is broadcast by the station. This includes match previews, interviews and post match reaction too.
“As a club we are delighted to have Radio Cornwall covering every Truro City match next season,” said the club’s head of media and communications Gareth Davies.
“Radio Cornwall have been a constant with Truro City in the club’s recent journey, with their unwavering commitment demonstrated by their coverage of the National League South title run in and trophy celebrations too.
“The introduction of a Truro City page on BBC Sounds will make it easier and more convenient for our fans to keep up to date with audio content that the station produces.
“We know that, given the extended travelling miles for away games, not all fans will be able to attend every game. But they will be with us every step of the way, wherever they are in the world, listening to BBC Radio Cornwall.”
Meanwhile, Ross Ellis, BBC Radio Cornwall’s sports producer, added: “BBC Radio Cornwall is delighted to confirm that it will be covering Truro City in all competitions, home and away.
“We have been following the team for many years, but will be ramping up our coverage, after this historic promotion from National League South last term.
“I am also delighted to work with Gareth and the team at Truro City, to help deliver this coverage. It is certainly an exciting time to follow Truro City and bringing the last gasp title win, to this new season in the National League, every step of the journey will be covered by BBC Radio Cornwall, ahead of this history-making season.”
Meanwhile, the club’s online coverage from the BBC has also taken a step forward with the creation of a team page on the BBC sport website, where every Truro City story in written form, can be found.
The club would like to place on record its thanks to Brent Pilnick and all the staff at BBC Sport online, for their continued support.
