Parking

Parking is available at the ground, priced at £2 for cars and £5 for minibuses. There is alas street parking available near the ground, with supporters reminded that if they use this option, to park considerately and respect local residents.

The Ground

The Lamb Ground, although appearing uninspiring on the outside, is a classic case of never judging a book by its cover.

Because inside the ground, you will find a very well-maintained facility, that is charming and pleasing on the eye.

The Main Stand is the most recent addition to the ground, having opened in 1996. It is a tidy little covered stand that straddles the halfway line of the pitch. It has a capacity of 518 seats, with one block allocated to Truro fans.

The other side is a small covered terrace, known by the fans as ‘The Shed’ which runs nearly the full length of the pitch.

This terrace is home to the ‘The Shed Choir’ (in reference to the Tamworth fans who sing in this stand). On its roof is a television gantry, complete with a large model owl to help deter the presence of other birds.

The Castle End is an open terrace, whilst the other end is a partly covered terrace (to the rear). This end, the Meadow Street End, is where Truro fans who want to stand will be situated.

The ground is overlooked in one corner by the sizeable Tamworth Snowdome. It gets its unusual name from a former public house called the Lamb Inn that used to be situated near to the entrance to the club car park.

A new artificial 3G playing surface was installed at the Lamb Ground during the summer of 2016, levelling out the previous slope.

With thanks to Football Ground Guide for the additional information.

Food & Drink

Traditional football ground food and drink will be on offer to away fans. There is also a clubhouse at the ground, which does accept away supporters, although it is only home fans for what Tamworth deems ‘high risk’ fixtures.

With this game not falling into this category, Truro City fans will be able to use the clubhouse.

Programme

Sadly for football traditionalists, Tamworth have stopped producing a hard copy programme and instead, have moved towards a digital offering.

It can be downloaded by scanning a QR code that will be displayed in all away facilities. The same applies to team sheets too.

Away fans have been allocated the Meadow End of the ground, which is a mixture of covered and uncovered terracing, along with flat standing. This part of the Lamb Ground can hold 850 spectators.

Along with terracing, City fans can also sit in a small block of seats in the main stand too.
