City will make their and English football’s longest ever trip for a competitive league fixture tomorrow – Saturday – when they travel to Carlisle.
The Cumbrian outfit, who have suffered back-to-back relegations, find themselves in the National League for the first time in 20 years whilst for Truro, it is a maiden campaign dining at the top table of non-League football.
Both sides were in action on Wednesday as John Askey’s side were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Aldershot Town. At the same time, Carlisle, under the guise of experienced boss Mark Hughes were 1-0 winners over Brackley Town.
