Location: Truro City Football Club
Contract Type: Part time, 21 hours per week (3 days including all home matchdays).
Salary: £16,380-£18,564 per annum, dependent on experience

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive, relationship-focused commercial executive to support the day-to-day operations of the commercial department.
This role plays a key part in maintaining strong connections with our sponsors and partners, ensuring contract delivery, supporting commercial events, and managing matchday hospitality operations.
The ideal candidate will be organised, personable, and motivated to help grow and protect our commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Partner and Sponsor Relations
- Maintain regular and professional contact with selected club sponsors and partners, keeping relationships positive and active.
- Support ongoing communication to ensure mutual value, goodwill, and long-term retention.
Contract Fulfilment & Asset Management
- Monitor the fulfilment of partnership agreements, tracking the use and delivery of assets.
- Feed performance and fulfilment updates into routine partner conversations.
- Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver partnership assets as expected.
Events & Activations
- Provide light-touch support at selected commercial events and activations.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of sponsor-related obligations at club-led events.
Matchday Hospitality Coordination
- Oversee pre-match hospitality communications including guest lists, ticket allocation, itineraries, and matchday instructions.
- Ensure a seamless hospitality experience for partners and guests on matchdays.
Commercial Operations Support
- Assist with organising and maintaining commercial inventory, contract filing, and CRM records.
- Track sponsor invoicing, monitor payments, and escalate outstanding accounts where necessary.
Brand Advocacy
- Act as an enthusiastic advocate for the Tin Exchange and other club-led initiatives, helping embed these into commercial conversations and communications.
- Representing the club at events and functions in a positive, professional and vibrant manner, having meaningful conversations whilst building a rapport.
B2B Comms and Marketing Support
- Some population of content and posting to business-to-business platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Manage our business-to-business mailing list, co-curating and delivering regular communications to our partners.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Proficient in basic IT applications
- Experience in client services, events, or commercial support roles (sports industry preferred)
- Comfortable working occasional evenings and most weekends (Saturdays) as required, during the season. (matchdays and events only).
- Attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
Desirable
- Knowledge of CRM systems and invoicing tools
- Experience in a commercial or sponsorship environment
- Passion for sport and an understanding of its commercial landscape
