A lynchpin midfielder in Plymouth Parkway’s rise up the non-league pyramid, Cornishman Palfrey moved back to Truro in the summer of 2023, four years after he left City.
A product of the Plymouth Argyle youth system, Palfrey joined Truro in 2017 and spent two years at the club’s former home Treyew Road. He also had a brief spell with Torquay United.
Palfrey suffered a pelvic injury before a competitive ball was kicked last term and after a gruelling recovery programme, he finally made his second City debut in a 2-0 home reverse at the hands of eventual champions Yeovil Town.
He would make two further appearances as City secured Step Two survival and now fully fit, will be looking to make up for lost time this season.
